Situation
In 2017, a leading forestry company launched a project to design and implement new software to guide their planning. In order to ensure that the project would meet the intended goals, I conducted a review of the project in 2019 to identify project strengths as well as identify areas for improvement. The work resulted in identification of areas for improvement ranked by priority and a plan to implement the necessary changes that was suited to their project and organizational culture. The findings guided the organization in investing in the highest impact improvements that could lead to the most significant positive change and will also serve as a resource for planning and implementing future projects to ensure they are successful.
